Caring for a loved one can be a difficult job! HON can help ease the burden in many ways:
- Respite Care: if you need a short break to run errands or simply get away, we can send in a caring volunteer to stay for a couple hours.
- Education: we have created multiple options for learning about caregiving and sharing your experience including a mini-library of caregiving books in our office; short educational seminars interspersed throughout the year; and an upcoming yearlong series designed exclusively around caregiver needs.
- Resources: sometimes you just don’t know where to turn and we can help you find the right agency or service for your unique needs.
